This set of painted maple cabinetry was built for use in the master bedroom of the client's Buckhead townhome. As shown in the photos above, these premium cabinets include a wide variety of upscale features (selected by the client during the design process) including:
The upper cabinets have arched top rails and fluted stiles which combine perfectly with the arched raised panel doors and side panels of the cabinetry. Combined with the staggered crown moldings, these details lend an elegant and traditional look to these formal cabinets.
Recessed halogen lighting fixtures illuminate the contents of the upper display cabinets and rope lighting hidden on top of the cabinetry adds further accent lighting to the trayed ceiling in the room.
Display shelves for art objects and family photos were placed in the upper cabinetry, though the center unit was reserved for a wall-hung antique mirror. Beaded edges on the adjustable display shelves add to the traditional look of the cabinetry - however, the centers of the shelves are actually tempered glass, allowing the halogen accent lighting to travel down through the entire shelving unit. This shelving concept has been very popular with a number of my clients.
An enclosed storage space for a small bedroom flat-panel TV (along with a cable TV box and DVD player) was concealed behind retractable pocket doors in the right side display cabinet. The entire base of these bedroom cabinets consists of shelved storage behind arched panel doors.
All exterior and interior surfaces on the cabinetry were painted with a color-matched pigmented conversion varnish that precisely matches the wall color in the master bedroom. In addition to being extremely durable, the conversion varnish provides an ultra-smooth semi-gloss luster requested by the client.
The net result is an elegant set of cabinets that doesn't stand out in the room (in the same way that stained cabinetry would do), but instead blends in with the decor and yet has plenty of subtle design details when inspected more closely.
114" wide, 94" tall, and 22" deep.

Cabinet pricing is dependent on a wide variety of factors that can drastically alter the final cost. Cabinet quantities/sizes, material selection, construction methods, accessories, and finishes all impact the pricing.
