The simple design of this fluted walking stick is intended to highlight the unique characteristics of the ambrosia maple lumber. The stick is gently tapered from top to bottom and the flutes themselves are tapered, becoming progressively smaller from top to bottom. The handgrip section of the walking stick is crafted in a "pillowed diamond" pattern, making it easy and comfortable to hold. The end of the walking stick is capped by a cushioned rubber tip, protecting the wood's end grain and insuring years of use.
Shown in ambrosia maple, this walking stick also looks good in curly maple, zebrawood, wenge, and other species with dramatic grain patterns.
Typical walking stick lengths are 40" to 50", but can be tailored to any length you may require.
