The central design element of this set of candlesticks is the intriguing hollow spiral column. Precisely carved so that you can literally see through the column, these pieces will always get people's attention. The hollow spiral is actually a double-helix shape - two interlocking helix structures follow each other vertically down the column.
The candlestick pair shown in the photos above combines walnut base and top pieces with the cherry wood hollow spiral column. Many other combinations of wood species can be mixed to create similarly beautiful results. A gloss lacquer finish gives these pieces plenty of protection.
